OHFA Awards Over $2 Million in Housing Tax Credits to Provide Affordable Housing to Seniors and Veterans
OHFA is providing $2,885,000 to McBride Place, a three-story, affordable housing development in Dayton, Ohio. This development will be located at 4100 West Third Street, which is on the Veterans Affairs (VA) campus, and will provide 59 units of affordable housing to seniors with special preference given to veterans.
Responses must be submitted by a Land Bank established under Section 1724 of the Ohio Revised Code or a local entity that signed a cooperative agreement with the established Land Bank. There may be only one applicant per county. Other criteria within the RFP must also be met in order to be considered for this application.
811 Project Rental Assistance state agency partners are extending the opportunity to partner with Public Housing Authorities and eligible non-profits in applying for 811 Mainstream Vouchers. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has posted a Notice of Funding Availability, providing up to $100 million in vouchers to an expected 40 awardees across the nation.
